Target & Hautelook Haul

Target Haul! Normally, there's a section at the end of the isles near the pharmacy/cosmetics sections with loads of make up on clearance. However, this target didn't have that. I had to search through the make up section for the red clearance tags to discover these great finds!
Neutrogena mineral sheers concealer kit in medium 15
Retail:$11.99 Clearance $2.98
Loreal Le Kohl Duo double - ended shadow & Liner in Hazelnut
Retail: $7.49 Clearance: $1.87
Physician Formula Healthy wear Pressed Bronzer in Medium 7076
Retail: $12.99 Clearance: $3.24
Expert Wear Maybelline Blush in plushed plum
Retail:$4.49 Clearance $1.12
Sonia Kashuk Enhance eye shadow in Driftwood matte - 50
Retail: $5.99 Clearance: $1.48
Rimmel London Eye Glistener in 200 Straight Laced (bottom) and 100 Girls only! (top)
Retail:$6.89 Clearance:$1.72
On  the top there's a creamy concealer
Then, when you unscrew the top there's a translucent powder to set your concealer! AWESOME
 Physician's formula bronzer
I love these! They're so pigmented, and this is a great crease color
 Swatched: top: bare skin Bottom:UDPP
This maybelline blush sucks it's absolutely pigmentLESS it's just shimmery :(
These two rimmel pencils are cool! They remind me of NYX jumbo eyepencils, but these are more creamy. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing for eyes, but I think the pink could be versatile for lips and cheek if you want!
I've never seen anything like this before. There's a pencil liner at one end, and at the other end, there's a sponge tip applicator. AND inside the cap there actually this golden/copper eyeshadow!
 Inside the cap
Swatched:  Eyeliner pencil / eyeshadow in cap

Revlon Beyond Natural Skin matching make up in 230 medium
Retail: $10.99 Clearance $2.74
When it first comes out of the bottle, it looks like a white base then round pigmented granules dispersed within the mixture.
In the process of blending it out
Skin matching? I guess it matches, but I found, later, that it provides very little coverage. Might be perfect for someone who has relatively clear skin and just needs to even out their complexion.
Hautelook Haul: Jane Blush & Bronzer
Jane Blushing Cheeks in Blushing Orchid Shimmer
Jane Blushing Cheeks in Blushing Wine
Jane Oil Free Bronzing Powder in Sahara

It's been awhile now since Justin Timberlake teamed up with Target to release a collection of his fashion line, William Rast, at an affordable price where REAL people can purchase it! I know there are times WR is featured on Hautelook, but the prices were still high for the likes of frugal pockets! Therefore, I was delighted to see William Rast available at my local target! I won't really get into the female line, but Will (after various snicker doodle cookie bribes) willingly offered to model the WR items he purchased! Mind you, we waited like predators in the African Safari for the clearance prices to finally reach 75%! Remember Frugal Pockets!! Alas, our patient waiting was kindly rewarded last week to a very happy Will, might I add.

@ 75% off they were all around $8!

Although I do mostly talk about things we get on clearance, some things we just have to have!

Will playing around in his William Rast Jacket in Austin :)

This baby we didn't get on clearance :( However, if we had waited, it would have been gone. Thereby justifying the lack of $50 in, as mentioned before, frugal pockets.

Purple glittery nails!

I used essie sole mate with sally hansen rock star pink on top. Sole mate was a really deep, plum purple but the glittery pink made it more playful and cute!

Depotting Revlon and Maybelline eye shadows

I finally got around to depotting some of my individual drugstore eyeshadows into this super cute pink barbie tin I found on clearance @ target!
I first tried a method using rubbing alcohol to dissolve the glue holding the eyeshadow pans to the case.
Peel away the barcode sticker on the back of the eyeshadow
& there's a tiny hole on the upper left side of the case.
I then easily broke the cover off the eyeshadow case
& used a baby booger sucker thingy (cleaned it first of course!) and dropped some rubbing alcohol into the little hole on the back
Let it sit for around 5 minutes to let the alcohol dissolve the glue
Wedge a razor in between the eyeshadow pan and the packaging
 Tada! freed eyeshadow pan!
2nd method I tried was using a straightening iron to melt the glue ( strip of wax paper to protect the straightening iron!)
Place the eyeshadow on the hot curling iron for approximately 1-2 mins (not too long or the packaging itself will melt through)
It was a lot easier using the straightening iron method vs rubbing alcohol, so I used it for the rest of the shadows.
Here are all the revlon shadows I depotted
& this is what happens when I forget about them and leave them on too long O.O
 Maybelline Shadows depotted
Luckily, I found this barbie & Ken tin box frame to make my DIY eyeshadow palette!
Of course it was on clearance :)
LOL I don't know what to do with the cards that came with it though haha

Bought magnetic tape from Michael's for $1
Tape it to the back of the shadows
& magnet sticks to the tin frame! yay my first depotting adventure! Its actually really addicting.
